Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Audio Visualizer ("we", "us", or "our"), accessible at simpleaudiovisualizer.com, handles your data when you use our service.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal information to use the tool.
2. Uploaded Audio Files
When you upload an audio file to generate a visualizer video, that file is:
- Transferred over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our web server.
- Saved to a temporary directory on the server for the sole purpose of FFmpeg processing.
- Permanently deleted immediately after the output MP4 has been delivered to your browser.
- Never stored in a database, cloud storage, or backup system.
- Never shared with or transmitted to any third party.
3. Generated Video Files
The MP4 video produced by the tool is streamed directly to your browser and then deleted from the server. We do not retain copies of any generated videos.
4. Log Files
Like most web servers, ours may record standard HTTP access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). These logs are used solely for server security and performance monitoring and are not associated with any uploaded files. Log files are routinely purged according to standard hosting schedules.
5. Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics) are loaded on any page of this site.
6. Third-Party Services
We do not embed third-party scripts, advertising networks, or social media tracking pixels. The only external resource loaded is the FFmpeg binary running server-side โ it communicates with nothing outside the server.
7. Children's Privacy
This service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Security
All data in transit is protected by HTTPS/TLS. Uploaded files are processed with a randomized unique filename to prevent collisions and are deleted immediately after delivery. The FFmpeg binary directory is blocked from public HTTP access.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please use the contact information available on the site.
